Group campaigns for the presidency of Tinubu in Kwara

One group, Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has started raising public awareness in Kwara State on the major transformations Nigeria would experience if All Progressives Congress national leader Bola Tinubu wins the presidential race in 2023 .

Public awareness began after a well-attended state meeting of the group held on Saturday at the premises of Barakat Secondary School, Ilorin.

The group’s outreach program involved advocacy visits to political leaders and influential people within the state, as well as door-to-door and person-to-person discussions.

Earlier, the group’s state director, Dr Wole Alawode, urged members to remain firm and committed in their support for Tinubu’s ambition.

He assured that if Tinubu wins the presidency next year, “there will be a notable transformation of the country and a marked improvement in the various sectors essential to national development”.

Alawode reminded members of Tinubu’s legacy when he governed Lagos State, saying he would achieve greater feats if elected to govern Nigeria.

“Tinubu is setting up systems in Lagos, and it has worked perfectly for Lagos. I believe what our leaders have said that he will end apologies in government and restore apologies with performance.

“We need systems that work in Nigeria, and we need a leader who understands the complexities of national development. Asiwaju is our best option right now,” he explained.

Alawode urged all members to spread the message of Tinubu’s progressive leadership and his good plans for the nation to all homes and to all political groups and circles within the state.
