GAIL campaigns on environmental awareness
win the ABBY One Show Awards at Goafest 2022
New Delhi, May 10, 2022: GAIL’s two campaigns “Interdependence” – a global awareness campaign against climate change and “Hawa Badle Hassu” – A web series advocating clean energy and clean environment win silver and bronze “Goafest 2022 ABBY One Show Awards” in the Branded Content and Entertainment categories respectively.
The Interdependence Campaign won the silver ABBY One Show Awards, a coveted recognition for any campaign, and the GAIL Campaign is just one of many PSUs to receive such accolade. Megha’s Divorce short film, which is part of 11 international short films, as part of the Interdependence campaign has been shown and promoted across the world. The film presented the Indian context of air pollution in Delhi by raising awareness about the environment and climate change nationally and internationally. “Interdependence” is a United Nations-sponsored global campaign organized by Art for the World, an NGO associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information (UNDPI) based in Geneva, Switzerland.
ABBY One Show Awards Bronze Awarded “Hawa Badle Hassu” is an environmental sci-fi thriller web series for raising awareness of clean energy and clean environment. “Hawa Badle Hassu” is a web series with a total duration of forty minutes divided into 4 episodes. Each episode deals with crucial areas and aspects related to the Environment (pollution). The first episode focuses on “the home environment” and as the story progresses it touches on topics such as “education and career building options around the environment”, “the ‘external environment’ and finally moves on to the ‘global environment’.
